In renovations, the preservation of the structural and architectural beauty of the historic building is the number one priority. Many of the buildings have been vacant for decades and are in delicate condition due to exposure to the elements. Therefore, normal means of blasting and refinishing are obsolete. Andreola Restoration uses a high performance wet-mist blasting system that combines the abrasive power of fine sand with a high-tech water blasting machine. The spray is powerful enough to eat through inches of grime and layers of paint, without damaging the existing wood, metal, or brick.
